Dear Parent
I have given your child an elastic band to use as part of the Energy Component in Science. Can you ask your child about the details of this activity before they do this. I have talked about safety considerations of using an elastic band device away from people, pets and expensive items. If you feel that they can’t respect safety considerations then please take the elastic band away from them. After they have done the activity they need to give the band to you for safe keeping overnight. This is to be returned the following morning.
